World No Tobacco Day - Sri Venkateshwaraa Dental College
On the Occasion of “World No Tobacco Day” was organized by State Tobacco control cell, Puducherry in collaboration with National Tobacco control program (NTCP), National Oral health program (NOHP), National Tuberculosis elimination program (NTEP), Indian Dental Association (ida). From Sri Venkateshwaraa Dental College, Thirty dental students and two faculties were volunteers for walkathon. The rally was inaugurated by Dr.Sriramulu, Director of Health and Mission Director (NHM) in the presence of Dr.C.Venkatesh Couppoussamy, State Nodal officer (NTCP), Dr.O.Kavipriya, State Nodal officer (NOHP), Dr.Suriya Kumar, State consultant (NTCP) ON 31.05.2023 (Wednesday). The rally starts from kamban kalaiarangam to Gandhi statue (Pondicherry rock beach). IEC materials were distributed to the General Public by Students.
