Sri Venkateshwaraa Group of Institutions Celebrates Graduation Day on 16-7-2023

Sri Venkateshwaraa Group of Institutions, comprising Indirani College of Nursing, Sri Venkateshwaraa College of Engineering and Technology, and Sri Venkateshwaraa College of Paramedical Sciences, hosted a grand Graduation Day ceremony on the 16th of July 2023. The event, held at the Sai Auditorium in Sri Venkateshwaraa College Integrated Campus, marked a significant milestone in the lives of the graduating students.

The Graduation Day began with a majestic procession, where Shri. E.Vallavan, I.A.S, Collector, Government of Puducherry , Shri.B.Ramachandiran, Founder Chairman; Mrs. Radha Ramachandiran, Founder Chairman; Mr.B.R.Rajiv Krishna, Managing Director; Mrs. Moushmi RajivKrishna, Executive Directorand Dr.B.Vidhya, Chief Operating Officer , Principals of SVGI , Heads of various Departments and  Graduates, donned in their graduation attire, marched with pride and joy. The air was filled with excitement and anticipation as students prepared to embark on a new chapter in their lives.

The proceedings commenced with an invocation, setting a spiritual tone for the event. Following the invocation, the ceremonial lighting of the kuthuvilaku, a traditional lamp, took place, symbolizing the dispersion of knowledge and enlightenment.

Our Founder Chairman Shri.B.Ramachandiran has declared the Graduation Day officially inaugurating the momentous occasion. Following the declaration, Welcome Address was delivered by Prof. Jamunarani.G, Head, Department of OBG (Nursing), Indirani College of Nursing has expressed her gratitude to all the distinguished guests, faculty members, Graduates, Students and families present at the ceremony. Followed by the declaration, Prof. B. Magimai Raj, Head, Department of Mechanical Engineering, Sri Venkateshwaraa College of Engineering & Technology introduced the Chief Guest. Then, our Chief Guest, Mr. Vallavan, IAS, Collector of Pondicherry, was honored for gracing the occasion with his presence and Mr. Vallavan, IAS, delivered an inspiring Graduation Address, sharing his wisdom and insights with the graduates. His speech emphasized the importance of education, hard work, and determination in shaping a successful and meaningful future. Then Shri B. Ramachandiran Founder Chairman of SVGI, delivered the Presidential Address, expressing his pride to the graduates and encouraging them to strive for excellence in their future endeavors.

The Principal of Indirani college of Nurusing, Prof.Dr.M.Malliga , The Principal of Sri Venkateshwaraa College of Engineering and Technology Prof.Dr.S.Pradeep Devaneyan, The Principal of Sri Venkateshwaraa College of Paramedical Sciences  Prof.Dr.C.Ananda Vayaravel and The Principal of Sri Venkateshwaraa College of Physiotherapy Prof.Dr.S.Ganesh Kumar presented their respective annual reports, highlighting the accomplishments, achievements, and academic progress made by the students throughout the academic year. The reports showcased the institutions' commitment towards providing quality education and holistic development to their students.

The event also witnessed the release of the college magazine, a compilation of student contributions, academic articles, and creative works. The magazine served as a testament to the students' talents and dedication to their chosen fields.

The highlight of the ceremony was the awarding of degrees to the graduands. With pride and a sense of accomplishment, each graduate walked across the stage, receiving their well-earned degree, marking the culmination of their educational journey. The graduates, filled with a sense of responsibility, took the Graduation Day Oath, pledging to uphold the values of their respective professions, serve society, and make a positive impact on the world.

Finally Vote of Thanks was given by Mrs. Sivapriya, Assistant Professor, Sri Venkateshwaraa College of Paramedical Sciences and she expressed her gratitude to everyone involved in making the Graduation Day ceremony a resounding success. As the ceremony came to a close, the Graduation Day was officially dissolved, signifying the end of this momentous occasion. The attendees rose to their feet for the singing of the National Anthem, showcasing their unity and patriotism.
