ALUMNI MEET ON APRIL 30 2026 FOR 2017–2021 AND 2018–2022 PASSED OUT BATCHES

The Alumni Meet for the 2017–2021 and 2018–2022 passed out batches was successfully conducted on April 30, 2026, at Sri Venkateshwaraa College of Engineering and Technology, Puducherry. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from alumni, making it a memorable and engaging occasion.

The event was conducted under the esteemed blessings of Chairman Shri. B. Ramachandiran and Founder Smt. Radha Ramachandiran. It was further guided by Managing Director Shri. A. R. Rajiv Krishnan and Executive Director Smt. Moushini Rajivkrishnan. With the continuous support and direction of Chief Operating Officer Dr. B. Vidhya, the event was successfully organized, offering a meaningful platform for alumni to reconnect and cherish their memories.

The program commenced with a warm introduction highlighting the significance of the Alumni Meet by Ms. Pavithra. S, Assistant Professor, CSE, along with her team. This was followed by the Welcome Address delivered by Dr. S. Pradeep Devaneyan, Principal, and Dr. K. B. Jayarraman, Vice Principal, who extended their greetings and emphasized the importance of maintaining strong connections with alumni. The event was also graced by the presence of Dr. N. Balaji, Dean Academics,  Dr. B. Magimairaj, HOD-Mech, Dr.V.Nagaraj Dean IQAC, Dr. R. Venkedesh HOD-EEE, Mr. V. Ganesan HOD-S&H, Mrs.A.Anitha, HOD-MBA and all the Teaching and Non-Teaching Faculty members.

The event was further enriched with vibrant cultural performances organized by                 Mrs. P. Sasikala, Assistant Professor, MBA, along with Mr. Louis Kishore, Assistant Professor, EEE, and their team. The performances, including singing and dance, created a lively and nostalgic atmosphere.

An interactive session was conducted where alumni shared their experiences, professional journeys, and valuable insights, strengthening the bond between the institution and its alumni.

The Tree Plantation initiative was carried out by Mr. Devanathan, Assistant Professor, ECE, Mr. L. Selvakumar, Assistant Professor, EEE, and Mr. V. Karthikeyan, Assistant Professor, Mechanical Engineering, symbolizing growth, sustainability, and long-lasting relationships.

As part of the event, gifts were presented to the alumni by Mrs. V. Anbukkarasi, Assistant Professor, Civil Engineering, and Mrs. P. Gandhimathi, Assistant Professor, Science and Humanities, along with their team, as a token of appreciation and remembrance.

The event concluded with a Vote of Thanks delivered by Mr. Balaji S., HOD-BME & Member Secretary, SVCET Alumni Association, Puducherry, who expressed gratitude to all dignitaries, faculty members, organizers, and alumni for making the event a grand success.
