Industry Exposure @ Lenovo, Pondicherry | Bridging Classroom Learning with Real-World Experience

A valuable industry exposure was organised for 70 students from the Artificial Intelligence & Data Science and IoT & Cyber Security Engineering departments of SVCET, Puducherry, who visited Lenovo’s manufacturing facility on 11 September 2026, accompanied by 6 faculty members.

The students had the opportunity to witness the complete manufacturing ecosystem, including assembly, testing and packaging operations. The visit provided them with practical insights into manufacturing processes, quality standards, testing procedures and industrial practices—helping them connect their academic learning with real-world applications.

Such industrial visits play a vital role in developing industry awareness, technical understanding and professional readiness among our students.
