Faculty Development Programme Effective Teaching Practices in Health education
A Faculty Development Programme on “Effective Teaching Practices in Health education” was organized on 13.10.2026. The programme was conducted with the objective of enhancing the teaching competencies of faculty members and familiarizing them with effective pedagogical strategies, student engagement, lesson planning, assessment methods, and contemporary teaching-learning approaches. Dr.S. Manikandan from Medical Education unit, JIPMER served as the Resource Person and delivered an informative and interactive session, sharing valuable insights and practical experiences. Around 20 faculty members actively participated in the programme and engaged in meaningful discussions. The session was well received and contributed significantly to strengthening the participants’ teaching skills.
