A Disaster Management Training Programme was organized by Sri Sathya Sai Seva Organisations, India – Puducherry, in collaboration with Sri Venkateshwaraa College of Engineering and Technology on 8th November 2025.

The programme aimed to create awareness and impart practical knowledge about effective disaster preparedness and response. Trainers from the Sri Sathya Sai Seva Organisation conducted sessions on emergency rescue techniques, first aid, and disaster mitigation measures.

Students actively participated in the demonstrations and interactive sessions, gaining valuable insights into handling real-life emergency situations. The event emphasized the importance of teamwork, service, and compassion during crises.

A pledge against the use of banned plastic was taken by the students and staff of Sri Venkateshwaraa College of Engineering and Technology on 8th November 2025. The event aimed to promote environmental awareness and reduce plastic pollution. Participants vowed to stop using single-use plastics and to replace them with eco-friendly alternatives such as paper cups, paper plates, and cloth bags. Everyone pledged to support a clean and sustainable campus.
