In a remarkable celebration of student achievement and career excellence, Sri Venkateshwara College of Engineering and Technology, Puducherry, under the visionary guidance of Shri B. Ramachandiran, Chairman, SVGI, hosted “JOBILATE ’26” as a prestigious Offer Day, marking a significant milestone in the institution’s placement journey.
The event witnessed an impressive outcome with 209 placement offers, featuring a highest salary package of 9 LPA and an average package of 4 LPA, reflecting the institution’s unwavering commitment to academic excellence and industry readiness.
The programme began with the distribution of offer letters, symbolizing the successful transition of students from campus to corporate. This proud moment was followed by an intellectually enriching panel discussion, where distinguished industry leaders shared valuable insights on employability, evolving industry trends, and career growth strategies.
The programme commenced with a warm welcome by Dr. S. Pradeep Devaneyan, Principal, while Dr. B. Vidhya, COO, SVGI, felicitated the gathering. Mr. Anandraj, Placement Officer, presented the placement report, highlighting the achievements of the students.
The panel featured eminent professionals including Mr. R.K. Ramachandran, Global Talent Head, KaarTech; Mr. Bharath Mohan, Associate Director, Virtusa; and Mr. Bharathkumar Mayakrishnan, Head of HR, Finzly. The session was ably moderated by Mr. Joshua David, India Campus Head, Mphasis.
