Sri Venkateshwaraa College of Engineering & Technology (SVCET), Ariyur, Puducherry has conducted NOURISH AND THRIVE : Breastfeeding awareness programme through Women Empowerment Cell,SVCET on 07-08-2024 with the guidance of Shri. B. Ramachandran, The Chairman, SVGI. With the felicitation of Dr. S. Pradeep Devaneyan, Principal, SVCET and Dr. K. B. Jayarraman, Vice principal. Our key speakers were Dr.Abinaya , Assistant Professor, Dept of Pediatrics and Dr.Gayatri devi,Senior Resident from the Department of Pediatrics along with Dr.Ankitha and Dr. Lavanya from Sri Venkateshwaraa Medical College Hospital & Research Centre. The programme provided a very insightful knowledge about the bond between mother and the child and the importance of breast feeding. Mrs. Anbukarasi, Women Empowerment Cell coordinator with her eminent team organized the event to enlighten the girl students .
