TALKATHON 2024 SEASON 1 for I YEAR SVCET STUDENTS

TALKATHON 2024 - SEASON 1

The Office of Corporate Relations, in association with the Department of Science and Humanities, is thrilled to announce TALKATHON 2024 for first-year engineering students on 22/11/2024 (Friday)

Objective: Encourage students to articulate ideas confidently, improving public speaking and communication skills.

Event Highlights:

 All First Year 230 students have to participate.

 Topics: 6 topics have been shared for preparation.

 Panel Distribution:

8 panels with 2 faculty evaluators per panel.

Each panel will evaluate 30 students.

Selection: Top 5 students from each panel (40 total) will move to pre-finals.

Pre-finals:

Students deliver a 3-minute talk before a jury of Heads/Faculties from our institutions.

Top 20 students will advance to the Finals.

Finals:

Conducted within a week.

External Expert: Invited to select the Top 5 winners!

In TALKATHON 2024  finals, 21 shortlisted students delivered their speech in front of external juries,1 student was declared as winner, 2 students were selected as 1st Runner up and 2 students were selected as 2nd runner Up.

The external experts will scrunity and give us the top 5 students and they will be rewarded.

Those top 5 were awarded with prizes and all the shortlisted students from 1st round were appreciated with consolation prize.

The event was felicitated by  Principal, all deans and HODs of all departments.
