"CYCLATHON-BICYCLE RALLY"
On the occasion of International Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons Day on February 13th 2023, a bicycle rally was organized by the Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons of India–Tamil Nadu and Pondicherry in collaboration with Sri Venkateshwaraa Dental College, IGIDS and MGPGI,Puducherry.
On the occasion of International Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons Day on February 13th 2023, a bicycle rally was organized by the Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons of India–Tamil Nadu and Pondicherry in collaboration with Sri Venkateshwaraa Dental College, IGIDS and MGPGI,Puducherry.The Cyclathon was innagurated by honourablePWD Minister Mr.Lakshmi Narayanan.Thethemeof this event Cyclathon was "We Save Face ".More than 100 doctors participated and contributed in creating public awareness on the importance of wearing helmet and seat belt to prevent facial injuries and protect lives. The rally started from Pondicherry Rock beach - Gandhi Statue and ended at MGPGI. At the end of the rally all the participants were asked to take oath to wear helmet and seat belt.
