FREE MEDICAL AND PHYSIOTHERAPY CAMP AT VILLUPURAM ON THE OCCASION OF WORLD PHYSIOTHERAPY DAY CELEBRATION 2024.
On the occasion of world physiotherapy day celebration on 8th September 2024, Sri Venkateswara college of physiotherapy have join hands with Sri Venkateswara medical college hospital & research centre, and Lions club of Villupuram to conduct a free medical and physiotherapy camp at Venkateswara matric school, Villupuram.
To highlight the event, Mr. Pugazenthi, DGM, SVMCH and Prof.K.Anand Babu, Principal, SVCOPT who were welcomed and honoured the chief guest of the camp Dr. Lakshmanan MLA of Villupuram constituent.
More than 150 numbers of general publics were consulted & treated by various speciality doctors and free medicines were given. In that 50 number of patients who have ailments with musculoskeletal pain, joint related problems stiffness and movement disorders were got free physiotherapy treatment by experienced therapists, faculty members, PG's and supported by student volunteers of final year of Sri Venkateswara college of Physiotherapy. Those who have major ailments were also referred to SVMCH for further follow up.
The camp was well organised and sponsored by Mr. Santhosh, Lakshmi agencies Villupuram, & the great efforts of Mr. Rajaganapathy, BPT final year SVCOPT.
