On 16th July 2026, Sri Venkateshwaraa College of Physiotherapy celebrated the Graduation Day of the 9th batch of Master of Physiotherapy (MPT) and the 11th batch of Bachelor of Physiotherapy (BPT).

The event was graced by the esteemed presence of the Chief Guest, Shri. R. Sathiyasundaram, IPS, Deputy Inspector General of Police (Law & Order), Government of Puducherry, and the Guest of Honour, Dr. Thirumurugan @ Murali, Principal, College of Medical Laboratory Sciences MTPGRI&HS, pondicherry. The occasion was presided over by the Chairman of Sri Venkateshwaraa Group of Institutions, Shri. B. Ramachandhiran, along with the Founder Trustee, Smt. Radha Ramachandhiran. The ceremony commenced at 10:30 a.m. with a grand graduation procession. The dignitaries inaugurated the event with the traditional lighting of the kuthuvilakku, followed by an invocation. Smt. Radha Ramachandhiran, Founder Trustee, officially declared the Graduation Day open. Our Chairman, Shri. B. Ramachandhiran, honoured the Chief Guest, Shri. R. Sathiyasundaram, IPS, and the Guest of Honour, Dr. Thirumurugan @ Murali. The Chief Guest addressed the graduating students with an inspiring and thought-provoking message, emphasizing the importance of continuous learning, professional excellence, ethical practice, and lifelong growth. The annual report for the academic year 2025-2026 was reported by Dr. jeyanthi.s, principal,svcopt.  In a moment of pride, the college newsletter, Physio Pulse (January–June 2026), was released.

The highlight of the event was the awarding of medals and cash prizes to the college toppers. In the MPT programme, Dr. V. Lakshmi Priya (PT) received the Gold Medal and a cash prize of ₹10,000 for securing the first rank, while Dr. P. Revathi (PT) was awarded the Silver Medal and a cash prize of ₹7,000 for securing the second rank. In the BPT programme, Dr. A. Gnaneshwari Ashika (PT) received the Gold Medal and a cash prize of ₹10,000 for securing the first rank, while Dr. S. Rajaganapathi (PT) received the Silver Medal and a cash prize of ₹7,000 for securing the second rank. Ms. S. Balqees Saadhiya Meer received the Best Intern Award.

The degrees were conferred upon the graduands by the Chief Guest. This was followed by the Oath-Taking Ceremony, during which all the graduates took the oath and pledged to uphold their professional responsibilities, ethical values, and commitment to serving society.

The ceremony concluded with the National Anthem, followed by a photo session, bringing the memorable occasion to a close.
