5-Day Health Care Domain Training for Final Year BPharm Students at Shri Venkateshwaraa College of Pharmacy

We organized 5 days of training on health care domain for Bpharm final year students of Shri Venkateshwaraa College of Pharmacy (83 students) from 26th Dec to 30th Dec 2022.

Medical Coding: Medical coding is the process of converting verbal descriptions of diseases, injuries, and procedures into numerical codes. These codes are used to bill insurance companies and government health programs for the services provided by healthcare providers. The training will cover the various coding systems used in the healthcare industry, such as ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS codes, as well as the basics of coding compliance and reimbursement.

Transcription: Transcription is the process of converting speech (either live or recorded) into written or electronic text. The training will cover the various types of transcription used in the healthcare industry, such as medical transcription, legal transcription, and business transcription. It will also cover the basics of transcription equipment and software, as well as the skills and knowledge needed to transcribe accurately and efficiently.

Scribing: Medical scribing is the process of creating and maintaining a real-time documentation of a healthcare provider's encounter with a patient. The training will cover the basics of medical terminology, anatomy and physiology. It will also cover the skills and knowledge needed to accurately document patient encounters, including the use of electronic medical records (EMRs).

Health Insurance Management: Health insurance management is the process of managing health insurance claims and policies. The training will cover the basics of health insurance, including types of coverage, reimbursement, and claims processing. It will also cover the legal and regulatory requirements related to health insurance, as well as the skills and knowledge needed to manage health insurance policies and claims effectively.

CRM: CRM stands for Customer Relationship Management. It is a strategy used to manage interactions with customers and clients. The training will cover the basics of CRM, including the different types of CRM software and strategies, as well as the skills and knowledge needed to effectively manage customer relationships.

Pharmacovigilance: Pharmacovigilance is the process of detecting, assessing, and preventing adverse effects associated with medicines. The training will cover the basics of pharmacovigilance, including the different types of adverse effects, the reporting and monitoring process, and the regulations related to pharmacovigilance.

Clinical Trials: Clinical trials are research studies that involve people. They are conducted to determine whether new medical treatments are safe and effective. The training will cover the basics of clinical trials, including the different types of clinical trials, the process of conducting a clinical trial, and the regulations related to clinical trials.

Overall, the training program will provide an opportunity for students to gain knowledge and skills that are essential for a career in the healthcare industry. The program will be delivered by experienced trainers from Global Talent Track, Bangalore and it will be a combination of theoretical and practical sessions.
