Faculty Member Serves as Resource Speaker at NSS Special Camp on Health & Wellness

On September 16, 2025, Mr. S. Ramkumar, Senior Assistant Professor, Sri Venkateshwaraa College of Physiotherapy, served as a Resource Speaker for the N.S.S. Special Camping Programme organized for N.S.S. Unit 33 students (both boys and girls) at St. Patrick Senior Secondary School, Puducherry.

Mr. Ramkumar delivered an insightful session on the topic “Health & Wellness”, emphasizing the importance of regular exercise, its physical and mental health benefits, and the adverse effects of performance-enhancing drugs. The session included practical demonstrations, where students enthusiastically participated in basic exercise activities to understand proper techniques and their impact on overall well-being.

At the conclusion of the program, Mr. Aaron Alfred Emmanuel, N.S.S. Programme Officer, honored Mr. Ramkumar with a special memento as a token of appreciation. The students expressed their gratitude and shared positive feedback, highlighting the session’s interactive and educational nature.
