Oral Pathology cancer awareness rally - Sri Venkateshwaraa Dental College
The faculty from Department of Oral Pathology, Sri Venkateshwaraa Dental college, took part in a torch rally to create awareness on oral cancer on 14.10.23. The program was an initiative of the Indian association of oral and maxillofacial pathologists (IAOMP).
Dr Shabana Fathima and Dr Amirtha Priyadharscini and 25 students and interns participated in the rally carrying cancer awareness placards. The rally started from Anna square and finished at Gandhi thidal, Beach road, Pondicherry. The rally was flagged off by Dr. Nihar Ranjan Biswas, Vice Chancellor, Sri Balaji Vidyapeeth and Dr Ramesh, former president of IAOMP.
The Department was presented with a commendation plaque by the organizers
