On the behalf of the World Physiotherapy day, on 8th September, 2021 - a Physiotherapy camp was conducted in the Ananthapuram village, Puducherry.
The camp was organized by SVCOPT and involved the final year MPT students and volunteers from Final year BPT students. The camp was set up inside a temple in Ananthapuram.The people of the village were announced about the camp. The attendees were assessed for Vitals initially including SpO2. They were also provided masks to ensure safety amidst the pandemic.
The attendees were then assessed by the Physiotherapists along with the PG students and appropriate Physiotherapy treatment such as exercise therapy and electrotherapy modalities were given. After the therapy session, the attendees were taught in particular exercises and given exercises pamphlets and counselled on lifestyle modifications for their wellness. The attendees were seated and our respected Principal of SVCOPT - Prof. Dr. Pahinian addressed the gathering and instructed them on how they will be benefited through physiotherapy.
The attendees were informed regarding their problems and were counseled to attend the physiotherapy department in SRI VENKATESWARA HOSPITAL for further treatments.
