PROTONEXUS – Where Ideas Meet Innovation & Development

Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC) of Sri Venkateshwaraa College of Engineering & Technology has successfully organized "PROTONEXUS – Where Ideas Meet Innovation & Development" on 7th April 2026.
The primary objective of the event was to nurture innovative thinking among students and to provide a platform for transforming creative ideas into practical prototypes and market-ready products. The event focused on enhancing students’ understanding of the innovation process and encouraging them to develop problem-solving skills through structured design and development methods.

A total of twenty-one teams from all the departments have actively participated in the event and showcased their prototypes, demonstrating creativity, technical knowledge, and innovative thinking. The prototypes were evaluated by the IA Ambassadors, who carefully assessed the projects based on innovation, feasibility, design, and practical application. The best prototypes were awarded First, Second, and Third prizes. The prizes were distributed by the Principal Dr.S.Pradeep Devaneyan and Vice-Principal, Dr.K.B.Jayarraman, HOD/Mech Dr. B. Magimai Raj who presented trophies and certificates to the winning teams in recognition of their outstanding performance. 

The event was organized by Dr. B. Magimai Raj, Vice President – IIC and  Mr. C. Manikandan, Convenor – IIC and was effectively coordinated by Dr. K. Neeladevi, AP / S&H and members of IIC.
