Career Guidance Program at Sri Venkateshwara College of Engineering and Technology, Puducherry

Sri Venkateshwara College of Engineering and Technology, Puducherry, organized a Career Guidance Program on 6th September 2025 at the MBA Seminar Hall. The session was graced by Mr. Srinivasan, M.A., M.Phil., Founder & Chief Mentor of Hiccinz Learning Excellence, who served as the resource person.

Addressing the students, Mr. Srinivasan provided in-depth awareness about various government job opportunities and the pathways to secure them. He elaborated on competitive examinations such as TNPSC (UDC, LDC), IBPS, Railway recruitment exams, IAS, IPS, and other central and state-level examinations. He also enlightened the students about job roles ranging from clerical posts to higher administrative positions including Revenue Officers, Deputy Tahsildar, Tahsildar, and others.

Furthermore, he gave valuable insights into the Pay Commission structures and corresponding salary scales, enabling students to clearly understand the career prospects and financial stability associated with government jobs.

The interactive session motivated the participants to explore diverse opportunities in the public sector and guided them towards structured preparation strategies.

The event was successfully organized by the Management, principal , Vice Principal,carrier guidelines committee of Sri Venkateshwaraa College of Engineering , puducherry and Technology ,Principal, Vice principal, and concluded with a note of gratitude to the guest speaker for his enlightening presentation.
