MBA Dept of SVCET Organised a seminar on Career Opportunities in the Insurance Sector

The Department of Management Studies (MMA Students Chapter) successfully organized a seminar on "Career Opportunities in the Insurance Sector", sponsored by the Pondicherry Insurance Institute and The Insurance Institute of India.

The sessions was featured by Mr. S. Thanigainathan (Manager-Admin, LIC, Pondicherry) and Mr. K. Sekar (Deputy Manager, Oriental Insurance, Pondicherry) as keynote speakers.

The session was also graced by esteemed guests, including Mr. N. Ulaganathan (Honorary Secretary, Pondicherry Insurance Institute), Mr. P. Natesan (Chairman, Seminar Organizing Committee), Mr. R. Selvanathan (Council Member, Pondicherry Insurance Institute), Dr. S. Pradeep Devaneyen (Principal), Dr. K. B. Jayarraman (Vice Principal), Dr. N. Balaji (Dean-Academics), Dr. Nagaraj (Dean-IQAC), Mr. Anandraj (Head - Corporate Relations, SVGI), and Heads of various Departments.

The seminar provided valuable insights into career opportunities, industry trends, and essential skill sets in the insurance sector.

Following the session, a quiz competition was conducted based on the day's discussions, and the top performers were awarded trophies. The event was highly informative and well-received by the students.
