Sri Venkateswaraa College of Engineering Collaborates with Touchmark Descience Pvt Ltd to Launch Descience Open Source Club (DOS)

Pondicherry, India – On August 28, 2024, Sri Venkateswaraa College of Engineering, in collaboration with Touchmark Descience Pvt Ltd, inaugurated the Descience Open Source Club (DOS). This initiative is designed to foster innovation and collaboration among students who are passionate about open-source technologies.

The event began with a Lamp Lighting Ceremony and the Tamil Thai Vazhalthu, followed by a welcome note and speech from the college Dr. Pradeep Devaneyan, Principal, emphasizing the significance of this collaboration. The official launch of the DOS Club was then carried out, creating a platform for students to develop their technical skills, engage in collaborative projects, and connect with industry professionals.

Alongside this exciting launch, we also signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Touchmark Descience, marking the beginning of a powerful partnership aimed at fostering innovation and collaboration in the world of open-source technologies.

The event concluded with a closing talk by Mr. Bharathiraja, CEO, Touchmark Descience, a Vote of Thanks by the DR. K.B.Jayaramam, Vice Principal, and the National Anthem.
