Seminar on "Career Opportunities in the Insurance Sector" for MBA students

Under the Guidance of Shri.B.Ramachandiran , Chairman,SVGI , Mr.R.Rajiv Krishna , Managing Director,SVGI & Dr.B.Vidhya,COO,SVGI,Depart ment of Management Studies (MBA) ,SVCET organized a seminar on "Career Opportunities in the Insurance Sector." Such seminars can be very informative and useful for MBA students who are looking for career opportunities in this field.

Dr. S. Pradeep Devaneyan, Principal of SVCET, gave a warm welcome address to all the attendees, which would have set a positive tone for the seminar. Dr. K.B. Jayarraman, Dean of SVCET, gave a felicitation address, which would have further encouraged the students to take an interest in the topic.

The Presidential address was given by Mr. R. Selvanathan, Council Member of Pondicherry Insurance Institute. This would have been an important address, as Mr. Selvanathan would have been able to provide valuable insights into the insurance industry.

The first session was conducted by Mr. S. Thanigainathan, Senior Branch Manager of Life Insurance Corporation of India, Villupuram Branch. He would have explained the job opportunities available in the life insurance sector for MBA students. This would have been very informative for the students who are interested in pursuing a career in this sector.

The second session was conducted by Mr. K. Sekar, Deputy Manager of Oriental Insurance Company Limited, Pondicherry Office. He would have explained the job opportunities available in the general insurance sector for MBA students. This session would have provided valuable information about the general insurance industry, which would have helped the students to make an informed decision about their career.

The seminar was concluded with a vote of thanks given by Mr. P.K. Muralikrishnan, Chairman of the Seminar Organizing Committee of Pondicherry Insurance Institute. This would have been a great opportunity for the students to express their gratitude to all the speakers for sharing their valuable insights and knowledge.
