SVCET - Research & Development Cell in association with the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering (EEE) & Dept. of Mechanical Engineering (MECH)inaugurated Chapter of Solar Energy Society of India (SESI) on 26th July 2024
Sri Venkateshwaraa College of Engineering & Technology focuses on providing a quality education by actively engaging the student community in the Professional Bodies/Societies, through which they develop their technical skills to focus on their real career growth and building network among engineering professionals. With the guidance of our Management team, Research & Development (R&D) Cellin association with the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering (EEE) & Dept. of Mechanical Engineering (MECH) inaugurated Chapter of Solar Energy Society of India (SESI) on 26thJuly 2024. The Chief Guest, Dr. Sayed Majid Ali, Director General of Solar Energy Society of India (SESI), New Delhi inaugurated the Chapter of SESI, handed over the Institutional Membership Certificate to the Head of the Institution, Dr. S. Pradeep Devaneyan and the other dignitaries Dr.K.B.Jayarraman, Vice Principal, Dr. B. Magimairaj, HoD/MECH, Dr. V.Nagaraj, HoD/ECE, Dr.G.Amuthavalli, Head-Research & Development and Mr.R.Venkedesh, HoD(I/C)-Department of EEE were graced the occasion. The chief guest delivered the inaugural address in which he exhaustively emphasized the need of renewable energy for our national development, government schemes to the economically weaker community to promote the renewable energy, motivation to focus on hard core engineering domains, scope of technical areas for research projects and entrepreneurship in green energy production. The students of Department of EEE, MECH and ECE understood the significance of SESI and the renewable energy in the development of their technical career path. The R&D team-Dr.N.Mythili, AP/S&H, Mr.P.Meganathan, AP/EEE, Mr.Karthikeyan, AP/MECH and Mr.D.Devanathan, AP/ECEin coordination with all the faculty members of Dept. of EEE & MECHsuccessfully organized the event.
