SVCET Welcomes First-Year Students with Grand Inaugural Event – INTROX-24

Sri Venkateswara College of Engineering and Technology (SVCET) hosted its first-year students' Inaugural program, INTROX-24, on 12th September at Sai Lecture Hall. The event marked the official beginning of an exciting new academic journey for the incoming students, celebrated with enthusiasm and grandeur.

The ceremony was graced by the esteemed presence of Mr. B. Ramachandran, Chairman,SVGI, who inaugurated the event with the traditional lighting of the lamp, symbolizing the dispelling of darkness and the ushering in of knowledge and wisdom. Other distinguished guests in attendance included Mrs. Radha Ramachandran, FounderChairman,SVGI; Mr. B.R. Rajeev Krishna, Managing Director; Smt. Mousmi Rajiv ,Executive Director; Dr. B. Vidya, Chief Operating Officer; and Mr. A. Soundarrajan, General Manager. The Principal of SVCET, Dr. S. Pradeep Devaneyan, extended a warm and heartfelt welcome to all attendees, setting a positive tone for the day's events.

The highlight of the program was the address by the special guest, Mr. V. Muthukumaran, Senior Manager of Recruitment at CTS Chennai. Mr. Muthukumaran delivered a powerful and motivating speech, urging the newcomers to view themselves as the future technologists of the world. He encouraged them to deeply understand and enjoy their subjects, and to embrace the broader scope of learning that extends beyond academics. His message to "love and live everything in your life" resonated deeply with the audience, reminding students that passion and curiosity are key to personal and professional growth.

The program concluded with a thoughtful vote of thanksdelivered by Vice Principal, Dr. K.B. Jayarraman, who expressed gratitude to all those involved in making the event a remarkable success.

INTROX-24 was a truly inspiring and motivational start to the academic journey for the first-year students at SVCET. As they embark on this new phase, they do so with a sense of belonging and an understanding that the college community will support and nurture them every step of the way.
