Sri Venkateshwaraa College of Engineering & Technology, with the guidance of Shri. B. Ramachandran, Chairmaninaugurated Standards Club in association with Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS),Chennai Branch office-Ion 16th June 2022. BIS is a national standard body of India who creates awareness to our students on quality and standardization through various activities under the club. The officials of BIS Shri. Jose Charles - Scientist D grade / Joint Director, Mrs. Uma Balraj - Section Officer, Ms. R. Jyotsna Priya - Scientist B grade inaugurated the club and distributed Standard Club Member Badges to 50 students.
Dr.B.Vidhya, Chief Operating Officer, Dr. S. Pradeep Devaneyan, Principal and Dr.K.B.Jayarraman, Dean/Academics felicitated the event. The member students gained an extensive knowledge on the importance of quality and standards of an engineering product.Dr G.Amuthavalli, Research and Development-Head and her team well organized the programme.
