SVCET conducted 1 day workshop Strengthening Student Mental Well being in Institutes of Higher Education on 4th September 2025

Sri Venkateshwaraa College of Engineering & Technology, Ariyur, Puducherry, proudly organized a special session on

“Strengthening Student Mental Well-being in Institutes of Higher Education” on 4th September 2025 at  MBA Seminar Hall.

The programme commenced with a warm welcome address by our Vice Principal, Dr. K. B. Jayarraman, followed by the presidential address delivered by our Principal, Dr. S. Pradeep Devaneyan.

Then the session was led by distinguished speakers from Auroville:

Mr. Ravi Shankar, Programme Leader, Auroville and

 Ms. Kiran, Programme Director, Auroville.

The event was conducted in two batches, ensuring active participation of Students and encouraging meaningful discussions on the importance of mental health, self-awareness, and resilience.

 Students gained valuable insights on managing stress, building emotional strength, and creating a supportive campus environment.
