SVCET has organized a Faculty Development Programme on "How to write an effective research proposal for various funding agencies" for the Faculty and PG students of our Group of Institutions. The Resource Person is Prof. Dr. N. Vijayan, Senior Principal Scientist, Council of Scientific Industrial Research- National Physical Laboratory, Government of India, New Delhi.

He stressed the importance of conducting research that addresses societal needs and called for the development of innovative, indigenous technologies.

Outcome of the Programme :

  1. The Resoure Person has explained that what are the steps to be taken in writing the Proposal in a good format.
  2. He also stated that what are the Funding Agencies are available throughtout the Nation.
  3. He also explained the procedures involved in considering the Proposals.
  4. He also pointed out the Potential areas of Research Proposals in the Health Related Domain, and Earth Materials Domain etc.
  5. He also insisted that their own CSIR publications can be made available for various domains.
  6. The Resource Person also stated that CSIR visits can be arranged for our Faculty members and PG students.
