RRC RED RUN COMPETITION– MR. S. PRAVIN B. SC NURSING II YEAR – HOLDS SEVENTH PLACE IN STATE MARATHON

The Pondicherry AIDS Control Society observed Youth Festival 2023 and organized state level
Red Run Competition for the college students with the aim of creating awareness on HIV/AIDS
on 6 th September 2023 at 6.00 am at Gandhi Thidal , Beach Road, Puducherry. Dr. Tamilisai
Soundararajan , LG, Government of Puducherry has flagged off the Awareness Red Run for 5
Kms with Great Spirit. The run is for the members of Red Ribbon Club of the district under the
tagline - Youth for HIV/AIDS. Among 110 members participating, Mr. S. Pravin of B. Sc
Nursing II year from Indirani College of Nursing got the seventh place and got the consolation
prize which instills feeling of prideness to each and every one of the institution.

Dr. S. Chitradevi, Project Director, Pondicherry AIDS Control Society addressed the
participants, and thanked the youth for coming forward to be the torch bearers in spreading
awareness about the HIV epidemic. She called upon them to continue to be the torch bearers and
