Sri Venkateswara College of Engineering and Technology, Ariyur, Pondicherry, in association with the Puducherry Technological University, conducted a three-day training course on computer, Internet, its applications and cyber security awareness under the Unnat Bharat Abhiyan project for the betterment of the lives of rural women.

Sri Venkateswara College of Engineering and Technology, Ariyur, Pondicherry, in association with the Puducherry Technological University, conducted a three-day training course on computer, Internet, its applications and cyber security awareness under the Unnat Bharat Abhiyan project for the betterment of the lives of rural women. Its valedictory ceremony was held on 25/2/22 at the college campus.
Dr. G. Sivaraj, Registrar, Puducherry Technological University presided over the function, in his keynote address he motivated the students and insisted them to be very careful when making money transactions. He also stressed the need to be careful when giving out their personal details on the internet and mobile app and to be clear about which apps are allowed and which are not.
Dr. Kavita Kumar, Unnat Bharat Abhiyan Project Coordinator, Puducherry Technological University, presented the purpose of the Unnat Bharat Abhiyan project and the report of this three day training workshop. More than forty students attended the training. Certificates were awarded to all. The trainees shared the benefits and details of what they learned.
Shri.B. Ramachandran, Chairman,SVGI, Mr. Rajeev Krishna, Managing Director Dr. B. Vidya, Chief Executive Officer , Mr. Soundarajan, General Manager and Dr. S. Pradeep Devaneyan Principal of Venkateshwara College of Engineering greeted the trainees.
Dr. K.B. Jayaraman, Dean, welcomed the gathering, all the department heads, professors, office staff attended the function; Dr. Sheeba,Assistant Professor, CSE , Puducherry Technological University delivered the vote of thanks.
