PFA-programme report

Indirani College of Nursing installed Rotary Club of Pondicherry, Aurocity on 07.08.2024 between 10.30 am to 11.30 am at Multipurpose Hall, ICON.  The club was installed with the main objective of Leadership development and opportunity to serve among students. This was initiated in order to develop their networks and learn new abilities. Rotaractors concentrate on each member's personal growth as they collaborate with fervor, passion, and dedication to bring about meaningful improvements through a range of events. At the installation ceremony Dr.B.Vidhya, Chief Operating Officer, SVGI presided over the occasion and enlightened the young minds. The young student nurses had been inspired to serve society by Rtn. Thiruvasagam, President of Rotary Club Beach Town, who briefed the students about the community projects and persuaded them to join the Rotary movement through Rotaract Clubs. 

Rotaract Chairperson Rtn. Shivaramachandran.O, imparted a message to the youngsters highlighting the goals of Rotaract and the organization, as well as the actual meaning of a leader from Rotary's point of view. Dr. Prof. Malliga Kannan, Principal, Indirani College of Nursing, greeted and appreciated the students who joined Rotaract as well as the executives of the Rotary and Rotaract clubs. Dr.Prof. R. Rajeswari, Vice Principal felicitated the programme with warm wishes. Honorable guests presented the President of the newly established Rotaract Club, Mr. Amudhavanan; Secretary Mr. Thirukumaran and Treasurer Keerthiga; Members Raghu, Dharshini, Aswathy Dineshkumar, and Meethiswaran; all were pinned with Rotaract lapel pins; and the charter was passed over. Ms. Keerthiga, the Rotary treasurer, cast a vote of gratitude. The programme was well organized by Mrs. E. Manju, Assistant Professor, Rotaract Coordinator and her team.
