On recognition of WORLD ZOONOSES DAY, Department of Community Health Nursing has organized a awareness education programme on the theme of “one world, one health: prevent zoonoses, stop the spread” on 06.07.2023 between 10.00am-11.30am in the Anadhapuram village.
On recognition of WORLD ZOONOSES DAY, Department of Community Health Nursing has organized a awareness education programme on the theme of “one world, one health: prevent zoonoses, stop the spread” on 06.07.2023 between 10.00am-11.30am in the Anadhapuram village. The programme was organized to create awareness and prevent the spread of zoonotic diseases. Ms. Keerthana, a fourth-year BSN student, gave a heartfelt welcome before the session got underway. 20 fourth-year BSN students took part in the activity. The awareness campaign drew 20 members of the public. On the anganwadi in Anadhapuram village, the students' posters were displayed. Posters with information about how to prevent the occurrence of zoonoses and zoonotic diseases from spreading were used. After the feedback session, the program was over. The programme was conducted successfully under Guidance of the Principal Dr. Prof. Malliga M and Dr. Prof. Rajeswari. R, Vice principal. Ms.Indumathi, Lecturer and Prof. Dr.S.Rathidevi, HOD, Department of Community Health Nursing Coordinated the overall program. Students that took part received an electronic certificate in appreciation of their work. The participant’s feedback was obtained at the end of the program, which stated that the program was very useful for the public and the students.
