The awareness session aimed to educate the general community about cancer prevention, early detection, and the importance of early rehabilitation. Informative lectures were delivered by Dr. Sathyaseelan (Tutor), Dr. Vaishnavi (Tutor), and Dr. Subalakshmi (Assistant professor) who discussed various aspects of cancer prevention, the importance of early diagnosis, and the significant role of physiotherapy in early rehabilitation.
The speakers emphasized the importance of maintaining a healthy lifestyle, undergoing regular health screenings, and seeking timely medical intervention to reduce the risk and impact of cancer. The session also highlighted how appropriate and timely rehabilitation can significantly improve the quality of life of individuals affected by cancer.
The program successfully raised awareness among members of the general community and encouraged them to adopt preventive health practices and seek early medical care whenever necessary.
