International Women’s Day was celebrated in Sri Venkateshwaraa Dental College on behalf of Student’s council: Fine Arts Club, on March 8th 2023.
International Women’s Day was celebrated in Sri Venkateshwaraa Dental College on behalf of Student’s council: Fine Arts Club, on March 8th 2023. The celebration started with the welcome address and an inspirational speech by Dr. Senthilnathan, Principal of SVDC on accelerating equality and empowerment. The theme of the program was “digitALL: Innovation and Technology for gender equality. Various onstage, offstage and online events were conducted. Onstage events consisted of a dance performance by the CRRIs and a skit by the CRRIs and third year students. Offstage events included creative programs like rangoli, mehendi and face painting which were conducted on the March 7th 2023. Online events comprised of interviews conducted by CRRIs with the theme “8 days 8 questions” which included the faculties, CRRIs and the students. The program concluded with a vote of thanks by Dr. Gayathri, Reader Department of Periodontics
