To bridge the overall skills gap in higher education and improve employability, SVCET has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the EduSkills Foundation to provide technical training to students and faculty members together with assistance in student placements.

To bridge the overall skills gap in higher education and improve employability, SVCET has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the EduSkills Foundation to provide technical training to students and faculty members together with assistance in student placements. SVCET and EduSkills Foundation will aim to train, develop and place students along with the formation of a different academy. In collaboration with SVCET, EduSkills Foundation will organize a ‘Train the Trainers’ programme, ‘Train the Students’ programme and offer internships and job opportunities to the students.

With the guidance of Shri. B. Ramachandiran, Chairman, SVGI, MoU was signed between Sri Venkateshwaraa College of Engineering & Technology, represented by Dr. S. Pradeep Devaneyan, Principal, SVCET  and Dr. Sathya Ranjan Biswal,Co founder & CTO Eduskills in the presence of Dr. B. Vidhya, COO, SVGI. The mou signing ceremony was held at Sai Auditorium on 01.12.2021.

Dr. S. Pradeep Devaneyan, Principal welcomed the gathering, Dr. Sathya Ranjan Biswal, Co founder & CTO Eduskills explained the students about the importance of the training and about the placement. Through this faculty members got training in AWS Academy, Blue Prism Academy, Microchip Academy, Juniper Academy, Palo Alto Cyber Security and course completion certificates were awarded to the faculty members.

Dr. B. Vidhya, COO, SVGI advised the students to best utilize the opportunity for their career growth and Dr. K.B. Jayarraman, Dean, SVCET delivered vote of thanks. The program was well organized by Dr. G. Amuthavalli, Research & Development cell Head and the team members.
