Oral Hygiene Day
On the occasion of oral hygiene day on the1stof August 2023,
On the occasion of oral hygiene day on the1stof August 2023, the Department of Public Health Dentistry and the Department of Periodontology, in association with Don Bosco Boys Home, Puducherry, organized dental screening and treatment camp for underprivileged boys studying at St. Dominic Savio Boys Govt. High School, Puducherry. All the students were screened for any dental problems, and those requiring treatment were treated in the mobile dental van. Dr. KuldeepSinghShekhawat, Reader, Department of Public Health Dentistry; Dr. JohnShibin, SeniorLecturer, Department of Pedodontics; and Dr. Abinaya, SeniorLecturer, Department of Pedodontics, participated in the camp and delivered oral health education tothe students. Interns posted in the Department of Public Health Dentistry treated the students and gave oral hygiene instructions.
