The Professional Grooming Program 2024, held from August 19th to August 29th at Mary McMillan Hall, SVCOPT campus, was meticulously organized by Mrs. M. Malarvizhi, Assistant Professor. This 10-day program aimed at enhancing professional development for students and faculty, covering a diverse range of topics. Inaugural Ceremony: The sessions were inaugurated by Mr. Venkataraman, Advisory Head, and Mr. K. Anand Babu, Principal of SVCOPT, who also delivered the welcome address and honored the dignitaries. Program Highlights: Day 1 (19th August): Mr. A. Murti presented on “Physio in the Corporate World.” Day 2 (20th August): Mrs. Divya, a Technical Trainer, discussed “Emerging Tools and Technology.” Days 3 and 4 (21st and 22nd August): Dr. Suresh Franklin conducted practical sessions on “Trigger Point Therapy.” Day 5 (23rd August):Mr. Paulraj offered insights into “Your Gateway to UK Healthcare.” Dr. Joshua Samuel Rajkumar led a webinar on “Understanding Scoliosis.” Day 6 (24th August): Mr. R. Anthony Peter focused on “Personality Development.” Day 7 (26th August): Mr. Vishnu Varadan, CEO of Atal Incubation Center, discussed “Becoming an Entrepreneur.” Day 8 (27th August): Mr. Abdul Razaack provided guidance on “Overseas Opportunities for Physiotherapists and Career Guidance on the APC Exam.” Day 9 (28th August): Mr. Sandou Louis Kichor shared strategies on “How to Face Interviews and Write Resumes.” Day 10 (29th August): Dr. B. Simulia Dhinju, Associate Professor and Academic Coordinator at JCOP, Maharashtra University of Health Sciences, concluded the program with a session on the "Scope of Neuro Physiotherapy." The sessions were attended by interns, final-year nursing students, and faculty members. The program concluded successfully with a vote of thanks and a group photo. Mrs. Malarvizhi was honored by Mr. Venkataraman and Mr. K. Anand Babu on the final day.
