SVCOPT Literary Club Encourages Communication Skills and Fitness Among Students

Students of SVCOPT actively participated in a Literary Club event held on March 7, 2026, at Mary McMillan Hall. The program featured two engaging sessions titled “Speak Easy – English Zone” and an Aerobic Activity, aimed at enhancing students’ communication skills and promoting physical wellness. The “Speak Easy” session encouraged students to practice speaking English and build confidence expressing their ideas, helping them overcome hesitation when communicating in English. The Aerobic Activity session, conducted in a lively dance format, focused on improving students’ physical fitness while also helping to reduce mental stress. The event was initiated by Prof. Dr. Jeyanti S., Principal, SVCOPT, and organized by Dr. Elamathi V. (PT), Assistant Professor at SVCOPT and Literary Club Coordinator. Students from the second year and final year actively participated with great enthusiasm. In the competition segment, the winners from the second year included Rebekah Dora, Ruwaidha Begum, and Niharika, while the fourth-year winners were Indrackshi and Vaishnavi. The event successfully encouraged students to develop confidence in communication while also promoting a healthy and active lifestyle.
