Two days workshop conducted on SVCOPT in the topic of "Antenatal care and Labour managemnet"

Two days workshop was conducted on "Antenatal care and Labour managemnet" by Dr.Kushboo Thakkar, who was the founder/ director  of Sakhi's women's health care, located at Surat, Gujarat. This programme was inaugurated by our advisory head Dr. R. Venguttaramane, our Principal Prof. K. Anand  babu, Resource person Dr. Khushboo Thakkar and Assosciate professor Prof. M. Paulraj at 10.30 a.m in Mary McMillan Hall at 6th floor in Sri Venkateswaraa college of Physiotherapy. In this program, ourAlumini's, intern students and our PG students with our staffs were participated.On first day Theory classes were taught to students on topics "Pregnancy fitness". In this, students learned about what are the test used in pregnancy, indications, contraindications, and how to collect the gynec asssmsent for pregnant women , then about the risk factors and exercise proogrames with practical sessions. On second day , learned about the "Tools to optimise labor and child birth". In this they discussed about what is labor and what are the hormonal changes in mother and child, possible signs of labor then stages of labor with practical demonstration with pelvic coreset and balloons . Finally validitary function done on that Resource person is honoured with certificate of Honouring and momentum. Appreciation certificate was given to organiser D.Dhanalakshmi , assistant professor, participation certificate was given to PG students , interns and aluminis.
