SVCOPT Social Club Launches with Futsal Tournament

As the first initiative of the Social Club of SVCOPT, a Futsal Tournament was successfully conducted on August 8, 2025, at the SVGI Sports Complex.

The event was graced by the presence of Chief Guest Dr. R. Venguatarammane, Academic Advisor. The tournament was efficiently organized under the guidance of Organising Chairperson Prof. Dr. Jeyanthi S., MPT (Ortho), Ph.D., Principal – SVCOPT, and Organising Secretary Mr. R. Venkatesh, MPED, Physical Director – SVCOPT. Dr. J. Philomina, MPT (Neuro), Assistant Professor – SVCOPT, also joined and extended their support to the event.

The tournament was well-planned and executed smoothly, ensuring a timely completion without any delays. After a series of exciting matches, BPT–4th Year students emerged as the Winners, while BPT–3rd Year students secured the position of Runners-up, and MPT-2nd Year students secured the position of Second Runners-up.

This initiative marked a great beginning for the Social Club of SVCOPT, fostering sportsmanship, teamwork, and enthusiasm among students.
