Introduction: On Commemoration of World Menopause Day 2022, Obstetrics and Gynaecological Nursing department has organized a Guest Lecture Program on the theme of “Brain fog and Memory Difficulties in Menopause” on 18.10.2022 between 2.30 pm to 4.30 pm at III Floor- Multipurpose Hall, Indirani College of Nursing. Report on the event: Beneficiaries of the program were around 90 students in M.Sc (N) II Year, B.Sc (N) IV Year. The program was started at 2.30 pm. The Guest Speaker Dr. Sree Supriya MBBS,MS,DNB(OG), SVMCH&RC, Puducherry, spoken about “Brain fog and Memory Difficulties in Menopause”, it was a great informative session for the students. Students doubts regarding Menopause and its medical and alternative management were clarified by guest speaker. This program was planned and organized under the guidance of Principal Prof. Dr. Malliga.M, and it was greatly supported by Prof. Dr. R. Rajeswari IQAC coordinator cum Vice Principal of the Institution.
Conclusion:- The students feed back was obtained at the end of the programme which stated that the programme was very useful and the students gained awaressness and knowledge about the Menopause. The programme was ended at 4.30pm. Mrs. Amudha.G Associate Professor, Department of OBG coordinated the overall programme. Their feedback was analysed and interpreted as excellent, good, and fair. Out of 90 students, 85 of them expressed as excellent, 5 students said good. |
