WORLD PHYSIOTHERAPY DAY 2026 – CELEBRATION REPORT
Sri Venkateshwaraa College of Physiotherapy celebrated World Physiotherapy Day 2026 under the theme, “The Role of Physiotherapy and Physical Activity in the Prevention, Management, and Rehabilitation of Cardiovascular Disease and Stroke.” The celebration aimed to create awareness about the importance of physiotherapy, physical activity, and healthy lifestyles in promoting cardiovascular health and preventing stroke.
The celebration featured a series of academic, sports, cultural, community outreach, and health awareness activities, with enthusiastic participation from BPT and MPT students, faculty members, and the college community.
The activities were organised by dividing the BPT and MPT students into four teams, encouraging teamwork, leadership, creativity, and active participation throughout the celebrations.
