A Symposium was conducted at Sri Venkateshwaraa College of Physiotherapy, with the topic of “Role of Physiotherapists in Improving Mobility Outcomes of Children with Cerebral Palsy”, on the 22nd of March. The symposium was organized with the guidance and motivation of the honorable chairman, Shri B. Ramachandiran, and Managing Director, Mr. A. R. Rajivkrishna.
A guest of honor by Dr. B Vidhya, Chief Operating Officer, and Presided by Dr. R. Venguttaramane, Academic Advisor, Sri Venkateswaraa Group of Institutions (SVGI), Puducherry.
Dr. Senthil Velkumar, Associate professor, was the Resource Person from Christian Medical College, Vellore. He shared his experience with the presentation and management of cerebral palsy children for improving their mobility outcomes. The content that he shared was beyond the textbook knowledge.
This event was conducted under the guidance of Prof. Dr. K. Anand Babu, Principal, of SVCOPT, and organized by Mr. S. Ramkumar, Assistant Professor, SVCOPT, and was supported by faculties and students from PG and UG.
