Dengue Awareness Rally and blood cancer and a stem cell donor registration conducted by SVCET NSS candidates
On 29.09.2025, we organized a Dengue Awareness Rally around Pangur in collaboration with the Primary Health Centre, Ariyur. Our respected Principal flagged off the rally. During the event, the students actively participated by raising slogans to create awareness about dengue prevention and control.
The NSS unit of Sri venkateshwaraa College of Engineering and Technology, in collaboration with the DKMS Foundation, organized an awareness programme on blood cancer and a stem cell donor registration drive on 27th September 2025 at 9:30 AM in the PG Seminar Hall. The event, facilitated by K. Sapthami Muddappa, aimed to encourage students to register as potential stem cell donors and help save lives. The programme was presided over by Principal Dr. S. Pradeep Devaneyan and Vice Principal Dr. K.B. Jayaraman, and coordinated by Mr. L. Selvakumar, NSS Programme Officer, along with Mr. V. Karthikeyan, NSS Coordinator.
