WORLD LUNG CANCER DAY 2026 – SEMINAR
The Department of Medical Surgical Nursing organized a seminar on "Together through Lung Cancer" on 1 August 2026 in observance of World Lung Cancer Day. The session was delivered by Dr. K.V. Raman, Associate Professor, SVMCH&RC, who shared valuable insights on lung cancer awareness, risk factors, early detection, prevention, and advances in management. The seminar enhanced participants' knowledge and emphasized the importance of timely diagnosis and healthy lifestyle practices in reducing the burden of lung cancer.
