Sri Venkateshwaraa Group of Institutions Celebrates Graduation Day - 2024
Sri Venkateshwaraa Group of Institutions, comprising Indirani College of Nursing, Sri Venkateshwaraa College of Paramedical Sciences, and Sri Venkateshwaraa College of Physiotherapy, hosted a grand Graduation Day ceremony on the 25th of July 2024. The event, held at the Sai Auditorium in Sri Venkateshwaraa College Integrated Campus, marked a significant milestone in the lives of the graduating students.
The Graduation Day began with a majestic procession, where Dr.G.Sriramulu,Ms.Director (Health), Directorate of Health & Family Welfare Services, Government of Puducherry , Shri.B.Ramachandiran,Chairman; Shrimathi.RadhaRamachandiran, Founder Trustee; shri.B.R.Rajiv Krishna, Managing Director; shmt.MoushmiRajivKrishna, Executive Directorand Dr.B.Vidhya, Chief Operating Officer , General Manager .Mr.A. Soundarajan ,Principals of SVGI , Heads of various Departments and Graduates, donned in their graduation attire, marched with pride and joy. The air was filled with excitement and anticipation as students prepared to embark on a new chapter in their lives.
The proceedings commenced with an invocation, setting a spiritual tone for the event. Following the invocation, the ceremonial lighting of the kuthuvilaku, a traditional lamp, took place, symbolizing the dispersion of knowledge and enlightenment.
Our Founder Trustee madamShrimathi.RadhaRamachandiranhas declared the Graduation Day officially inaugurating the momentous occasion. Following the declaration, Welcome Address was delivered by Prof.Dr.Jamunarani.G, Head, Department of OBG (Nursing), Indirani College of Nursing has expressed her honor to all the distinguished guests, faculty members, Graduates, Students and families present at the ceremony. Followingly, Assistant Professor Mrs.Silambarasi, Sri Venkateswara College of Paramedical Sciences, introduced the Chief Guest. Then, the Chief Guest, Dr.G.Sriramulu,Ms.Director, (Health), Directorate of Health & Family Welfare Services, was honored for gracing the occasion with his presence and Dr.G.Sriramulu,Ms.Director, delivered an inspiring Graduation Address, sharing his wisdom and insights with the graduates.
His speech emphasized the importance of education, hard work, and determination in shaping a successful and meaningful future. Then Shri B. Ramachandiran Founder Chairman of SVGI, delivered the Presidential Address, expressing his pride to the graduates and encouraging them to strive for excellence in their future endeavors.
The Principal of Indirani college of Nurusing, Prof.Dr.M.Malliga , The Principal of Sri Venkateshwaraa College of Paramedical Sciences Prof.Dr.C.AnandaVayaravel and The Principal of Sri Venkateshwaraa College of Physiotherapy Prof.Dr.K.AnandBabu presented their respective annual reports, highlighting the accomplishments, achievements, and academic progress made by the students throughout the academic year. The reports showcased the institutions' commitment towards providing quality education and holistic development to their students.
The event also witnessed the release of the college magazine, a compilation of student contributions, academic articles, and creative works. The magazine served as a testament to the students' talents and dedication to their chosen field.
The highlight of the ceremony was the awarding of degrees to the graduands. With pride and a sense of accomplishment, each graduate walked across the stage, receiving their highly-earned degree, marking the culmination of their educational journey. The graduates, filled with a sense of responsibility, took the Graduation Day Oath, pledging to uphold the values of their respective professions, serve society, and make a positive impact on the world. The Graduation Day Oath was proposed by Prof.Dr. Rajeswari, Vice-Principal, Indirani College of Nursing.
Finally Vote of Thanks was delivered by Prof. Paulraj,Department of Physiotherapy, Sri Venkateshwaraa College of Physiotherapy and he expressed his gratitude to everyone involved in making the Graduation Day ceremony a resounding success. As the ceremony came to a close, the Graduation Day was officially dissolved, signifying the end of this momentous occasion. The attendees rose to their feet for the singing of the National Anthem, showcasing their unity and patriotism.
