National Bone and Joint Day– 2023

On August 9, 2023, from 10.30 am to 12.30 pm, at SVMCH & RC, Department of Medical Surgical Nursing hosted an exhibition on the topic of "Prevention and management of Bone and Joint disorders" in recognition of National Bone and Joint Day. The National Bone and Joint Day was observed on August 4 in India, The day seeks to increase understanding of the importance of bone and joint health as well as to avoid various musculoskeletal diseases and disorders. Ms. Ramya S., Lecturer in the Department of Medical Surgical Nursing, gave a cordial welcome to the audience before the event began.16 II^nd B.Sc. nursing students took part in the event. The students presented their models on common bone and joint disorders, including osteoporosis, law backache, and how to treat them. The Programme was conducted successfully under the Guidance of the Principal Dr. Prof. Malliga M and   Dr. Prof. Rajeswari. R, Vice principal. The program ended with the feedback session. Ms.Ramya.S, Lecturer, Department of Medical Surgical Nursing Coordinated the overall program along with the B.Sc Nursing students The participant’s feedback was obtained at the end of the program, which stated that the program was very useful and  gained awareness about Prevention and management of Bone and Joint disorders. Their feedback was analyzed from the public and interpreted as excellent, good, and fair. Out of 60 participants, 55 of them expressed as excellent and 5 had revealed as good.
