Faculty Development Program on Myofascial Release Technique

Sri Venkateshwaraa College of Physiotherapy, Ariyur, Puducherry, organized a Faculty Development Program (FDP) on the topic “Myofascial Release Technique” on 20 February 2026. The program aimed to enhance the clinical knowledge and practical skills of physiotherapy faculty members in the application of myofascial release techniques in rehabilitation practice.

The session was conducted by Mrs. J. Dharani, Assistant Professor, who delivered both theoretical and hands-on practical sessions for the physiotherapy faculty. The program provided detailed insights into the principles, indications, and therapeutic applications of myofascial release, enabling participants to improve their clinical expertise and patient care.

The program was conducted under the guidance of the Principal, Prof. Dr. Jeyanthi S. and was coordinated and organized by Mr. S. Ramkumar, Senior Assistant Professor. The session was highly informative and well appreciated by the participating faculty members for its practical approach and clinical relevance.
