Inaugural Function of Indirani College of Nursing 2025

The Inaugural Function of Indirani College of Nursing, Ariyur, Puducherry, was held on 05.11.2025 with great enthusiasm and reverence at the college premises. The event marked the welcoming of the 18th batch of B.Sc. Nursing, 13th batch of M.Sc. Nursing, 14th batch of Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing, 14th batch of DGNM, and 18th batch of ANM students. The programme commenced with a Prayer Song, invoking divine blessings, followed by the Lighting of the Kuthuvilakku, symbolizing the light of knowledge and wisdom.
Prof. Dr. Malliga. M, Principal, delivered the Welcome Address, extending warm greetings to all dignitaries and participants with the spirit of happiness. Mr. A. Soundarajan, General Manager, SVGI, and Dr. B. Vidhya Rangaraju, Chief Operating Officer, SVGI, delivered Felicitation Addresses, appreciating the institution’s commitment to academic excellence and holistic development. Shrimathi Radha Ramachandiran, Founder Chairman, inspired the gathering with her words on moral values and the significance of leading a purposeful life.

 Shri. B. Ramachandhiran, Chairman, SVGI, deliverd the presidential address and emphasized the importance of quality education, discipline, and compassion in the nursing profession and encouraged students to strive for excellence. Prof. Dr. Rajeswari. R, Vice Principal, proposed the Vote of Thanks, expressing gratitude to all dignitaries, faculty, and students for their contributions. The programme concluded with the National Anthem, marking a dignified closure. The event beautifully reflected the institution’s core values of Devotion, Dedication, and Discipline, setting an inspiring tone for the academic year ahead.
