Mental Health Support in Disasters and Emergencies
The Nursing Education Unit and Department of Mental Health Nursing of Indirani College of Nursing organized a Guest lecture on the topic "Mental Health Support in Disasters and Emergencies" In commemoration of World Mental Health Day - 2025, with the theme "Access to Services—Mental Health in Catastrophes and Emergencies," on 10.10.2025 at Lecture hall, ICON, from 2:30 pm to 3:30 pm for the BSc Nursing—VI Semester students. The session commenced with a warm welcome, followed by an insightful lecture delivered by Dr. Sri Sai Priya S, Associate Professor, Department of Psychiatry, SVMCH&RC, who highlighted key aspects of mental health support and psychological first aid in Disasters and Emergencies. The program concluded with a formal vote of thanks.
