STATE-LEVEL WORKSHOP ON PAEDIATRIC LIFE SUPPORT (PLS)
Department of Child Health Nursing, organized a State-Level Workshop on Paediatric Life Support (PLS) on 30 July 2026 at SVMCH&RC. Expert sessions on identification of critical illness, respiratory distress and failure, medications used in cardiopulmonary arrest, and CPR were delivered by Dr. G. Keertika and Dr. A. Bharathivelan. The workshop concluded with a hands-on OSCE, providing practical training in pediatric emergency care. B.Sc. Nursing III Year and M.Sc. Nursing I & II Year students actively participated, strengthening their knowledge and clinical competencies in pediatric life support.
