SVCPMS contacting natioal unity rally 2025

On the occasion of the 150th Birth Anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, a District-Level Padyatra was organized under the theme “Ek Bharat – Aatmanirbhar Bharat.” The Unity March took place on 8th November at 2:00 PM from Swadeshi Mill to Beach Road, Puducherry. Total 25 students were gathered for the event, it aimed to promote national unity and pay tribute to the Iron Man of India. In between, more cultural events and patriotic activities were also organized to mark this historic celebration. The program encouraged participants to walk together for unity and rise for the nation, reflecting the legacy and vision of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel.
Prof. Dr. C. Ananda Vayaravel, Dean of Sri Venkateswaraa College of Paramedical Sciences (SVCPMS), and Dr. S. Jeyanthi, Principal of Sri Venkateswaraa College of Physiotherapy (SVCOPT), addressed the gathering and delivered inspiring words that motivated the students to actively participate in the event. They emphasized the importance of unity, discipline, and patriotism among the youth, highlighting how such initiatives help in strengthening national integration and fostering a sense of responsibility towards the nation.
The event was meticulously organized by Mrs. S. Sowmiya, Assistant Professor cum NSS Programme Officer, and Mrs. Vijayalakshmi, Assistant Professor cum NSS Coordinator. Their dedicated efforts ensured the smooth conduct of the programme, encouraging enthusiastic participation from students and spreading the message of “Ek Bharat – Aatmanirbhar Bharat” through the Unity March.
